I’m gonna write a thoughtful comment here. I’ve tried keychron and Mx mechanical. I like the sound of the mx mechanical. At first, I thought keychron stuff is better. But I’ve realized something. The keychron Force you to have your hands placed in a focused manner because the groove of each keyboard is more detaily and has a sharper curvature. It gives the feeling of detail-y. But at the same time, I feel like i have to use a bit of my brain to focus/ put my hands closer together to fit the groove of each keyboard. The Logitech Mx mechanical keys feel flimsier.(yes, feel like a cheaper material) But, I found it somewhat more pleasant. Because it just works. Another thing I like about Mx keyboard is that I don’t have to press deeper into it. One thing I don’t like about Mx mechanical logical is that it has no USB version. I strongly believe Mx keyboard is perfect for typing email things/essays. And, obviously I will use something else for gaming. I feel like Mx mechanical would be unforgiving to an emotionally charged finger press. Other than that, Mx mechanical would be perfect for me. (I also read it somewhere that Mx mechanical USB only does charging. And the connection is only by Blue tooth. So if battery stops working and stops charging, that might be it for the keyboard. I’m not 100% on this matter but please double check for yourself.) pricing wise I think it’s a bit pricey but I strongly believe it just got the ergonomic part correctly. I don’t think I can find something as good as this even if I spend $500+ on a keyboard. It feels like a BIC ball pen. There are Cheap feels but just fits hand easier and feels nice to press down on. The space bar of Mx keyboard was a bit of problem for me. The sound first. And, also worried if it would give out after many use. But, I think I’m gonna buy it. It just felt right. Apple keyboards have the smallest height. And, that makes me having to tilt my wrist the least. This Mx mechanical would be the 2nd lowest height. A tad higher than Apple’s but I think my wrist would be ok with that. I currently have a gaming keyboard from Corsair. It’s decent for gaming but I regret a bit when it comes to diary writing or everyday email writing. I think I have to get Mx mechanical keyboard. For adobe/sound work, shortest key height works the best like the Apple’s. It goes you that confidence the key was pressed and you only pressed it once. Instead of accidentally double pressed. It does happen.

Run me some QRSTool to map and analyze ECG data on MacOS. Run me IBM Amos… There! Mac can’t! While MacBooks are undoubtedly the best laptops for creators and hippie freelancing artists. It cannot compete with windows in medical research, niche engineering applications, and even enterprise suites. I wish I could like Mac - but I had to sell it because I was spending more time on my lab desktop because I couldn’t do half the tasks on MacOS. Apple has put all their eggs in the artists’ basket - while windows still caters to professionals, corporate professionals, and STEM researchers.

The M1 was the first non itterative computer Apple has released in over a decade or since and its why I will be keeping it until its ssd fails....Hell if they don't do something real like add all the ports back or make the ssd upgradeable I will look into the practicality of getting the ssd resoldered and give my money to someone more deserving. I only charge mine to 75% unless I go out so my battery is still at 92% so I won't need a new battery for at least 2 more years.....The value king :)

Macbook looks cooler, sleeker, more modern, has more battery life but sucks in every other possible catergories you could've think of.

the slower ssd on the base m2 air is also a huge drawback compared to dual channel ssd's on m2 16 and 24gb

Do NOT purchase this monitor!! I've had it for 1 month (Innolux panel), and the monitor just randomly exploded. I am taking legal actions towards BenQ... Luckily no injuries happened but this is simply unacceptable. I have had multiple monitors over the years without no problems whatsoever but this model of Benq (EX2710Q) happen to be poorly manufactured. I am disgusted by this.

Granted due to her scholarship she got a free xps 13 2 in 1. I want to get her just base M3 should fork over the $ 200 to get the 16GB ram or just base model is good enough for a person starting college she planning to be a nutritionist so not sure what will be required for to do in class.
